Like The Gruffalo, The Little Gruffalo is adapted from a children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. This duo is also behind Room on the broom, Stick man and The Highway Rat, all of which were adapted for the screen by the same production company: Magic Light Pictures.
