Blowing the seeds off a dandelion and watching their elegant flight – now there’s a springtime joy beloved of children and grown-ups alike … But how do these strange little parachutes appear? What happens between the time when the dandelion is a lovely blooming yellow and the stage where it is covered in these fluffy seeds?
