Benshi's review :

Cardboard sets, Cowboy and Indian figurines, hilarious dubbing and jaunty humour ... Do we really need to introduce the delightfully wacky world of the films of Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier, the famous creators of A Town Called Panic? In this new short-form episode, the Belgian film-making duo take us to a campsite on the shores of a mountain lake, where the whole village plans to indulge in some joyful holiday pursuits. For Cowboy and Indian, this trip could be the chance they’ve been waiting for to test out the boat they've worked so hard to build from scratch! But first the two buddies will have figure out how to join the happy holidaymakers because, of course, their plans start going awry as soon as they set off.

As always with Patar and Aubier, the story is built on a series of setbacks, detours and preposterous situations that keep forcing the characters to revise their plans and invent new challenges. While the film's narrative arc is simple, the many twists and turns act as constant digressions, matching the way children play when they’re telling each other stories. The ingenious dubbing heightens the comic value of the situations, with the characters’ naivety contrasting with the absurd humour of the dialogue.
