One night a big lynx is attracted by the lights of the town and, full of curiosity, decides to venture into it. The town becomes a giant playground and an arena of discovery.
In A Lynx in the Town we track the adventures of an enormous and endearing lynx as he looks around a big town with his inquisitive feline eyes. He sharpens his claws on buildings, slinks mischievously under bridges, discovers his reflection in building fronts and plays with traffic lights. His escapades bring to mind all the unusual habits of our favourite pets, which makes this short film all the sweeter and more amusing. The big lynx’s adventure is accompanied by catchy music by Nathanaël Bergèse, the composer and musical supervisor.
But A Lynx in the Town is also an absurd film with a pertinent point, because one morning, when the lynx wakes up in a car park, he finds himself surrounded by a crowd that, far from being scared, start taking photos of him! The lynx, upset by the incessant noise of the cameras, telephones and even drones, decides to head back to the forest. Although he enjoyed his trip, he seems quite happy to get back to the calmness of nature.
